Game Ready Training Baseball Pathway

A Complete, Year-Round Development System from 7U to 18U

At Game Ready Training, we believe every young athlete deserves access to high-quality coaching, structured development, and a clear path forward — no matter where they start. Our baseball pathway gives families a full year-round system that builds confident, skilled, next-level players from ages 7U through 18U. Parents choose GRT because we offer more value, more structure, and more opportunity than traditional seasonal baseball. Your athlete isn't just joining a team — they're joining a development system.

GRT Baseball Academy (7U–12U)

Foundational Skill Development + Fall Ball + Off-Season Training

The GRT Academy is where athletes begin their journey. These programs are designed to build strong fundamentals, athletic confidence, and a love for the game — while giving families a predictable, year-round development plan.

GRT Baseball Academy — Fall Ball

September–October

A minimum of four fall ball games to evaluate each athlete's baseline skills, baseball IQ, positional strengths, and development needs. This gives parents a clear picture of where their athlete stands and what they need to grow.

GRT Baseball Academy — Off-Season Training

November–April

Age-appropriate skill development in hitting, pitching, fielding, catching, and athletic performance. This is where athletes make their biggest gains — and where families see the true value of structured training.

Progression Goals: Proper throwing mechanics; consistent contact; basic fielding competence; love for the game.

8U Program — Skill Building & Confidence

Progression Goals: Repeatable throwing motion; improved bat-to-ball skills; understanding basic game situations.

9U Program — Athlete Identity & Skill Expansion

Development Focus: Pitching introduction; power development; advanced fielding angles; base running mechanics. Progression Goals: Ability to pitch safely; stronger contact and early power; confident fielding and throwing.

10U Program — Competitive Skill Development

2 hours/week

What parents love: Athletes begin position-specific development and learn how to compete. The first step toward more advanced baseball. Development Focus: Pitching mechanics; hitting approach; infield/outfield specialization; game IQ. Progression Goals: Pitching consistency; hitting approach development; position-specific competence.

11U Program — Advanced Development & Pre-Elite Prep

12U Program — Elite Prep & Next-Level Readiness

GRT Dragons Program (10U–14U)

The First Competitive Step After the Academy

The GRT Dragons are the bridge between foundational development and elite baseball. Designed for athletes aged 10U–14U, the Dragons program blends fall competition, off-season skill development, and a clear pathway to higher levels of the game. Parents choose Dragons because it offers more reps, more coaching, more structure, and more opportunity. This is the program for athletes who want to take the next step.

Dragons — Fall Ball Season

September–October

Each athlete participates in a minimum of four fall ball games to establish a baseline: skill level, positional strengths, baseball IQ, athletic readiness, and areas for improvement. This ensures every athlete enters the off-season with a personalized development plan.

Dragons — Off-Season Training Program

November–April · 2–4 sessions/week depending on age and positional focus

Athletes train across five areas. Hitting Development: Swing mechanics; bat speed and power; approach and pitch selection; situational hitting. Pitching Development: Mechanics and sequencing; velocity foundations; command and control; arm care and recovery; intro to pitch design (13U–14U). Fielding Development: Infield/outfield specialization; footwork patterns; glove work; angles, reads, reaction training. Catching Development: Receiving and framing; blocking mechanics; throwing footwork; game management. Athletic Development: Strength and conditioning; speed and acceleration; rotational power; mobility and arm care; mental performance training. This is where athletes make their biggest jump.

Dragons — Spring Tournament

March or April

The Dragons close out the off-season with a competitive spring tournament — a chance for athletes to showcase their development, compete before summer, build confidence, and receive final evaluations. Parents love seeing the transformation.
